Our Production Managers share their vision & passion for their job.

Episode 3: Thomas, 31, Pumps Production Manager

Hello Thomas, what has been your career path?

I’ve been pumps production manager for 1 and a half years. I started out as a pump assembly mechanic for a service company in 2018, then moved to team leader at Cryostar’s pump test bench in 2019. I have a degree in industrial maintenance.

How do you see your role as production manager?

Leading my team towards operational excellence is a key mission. This means developing the skills of my staff and adapting my management style to each member of the team. The aim is to unite the team around the company’s objectives and vision. Participating in the company’s growth is the ultimate goal, as it is for all Cryostar teams.

What do you enjoy most in your day-to-day work?

The diversity of our products, roles and missions means that every day is different, it’s never boring!

What advice would you give to job applicants?

Anything is possible with ambition, determination and motivation. Cryostar is a technological leader in cryogenic equipment. I would recommend it to anyone with a strong desire to work on highly technical products, in an international context, to join our teams. Cryostar is recruiting many talented people!

Be spontaneous! That's a great quality!
