Vincent, Head of the “Mechanical Design of New Equipment” Engineering Department at CRYOSTAR’s Technical Division

Vincent, Aeronautical Engineer, is a graduate of the ESTACA school (2011 – 2016), specializing in turbomachinery and aerodynamics. He draws on 4 years’ professional experience in the Paris region, where he worked as an aerodynamic design engineer in the automotive, then in aviation sectors for Safran company, before applying to CRYOSTAR.

Originally from Alsace, he and his wife decided to return to this region of north-eastern France, just before the Covid pandemic. He was recruited to the position of Aerodynamic Design Engineer in CRYOSTAR’s Technical Department in 2020, and moved to Colmar City, right next door to his family.  Since January 2024, he is in charge of the “Mechanical Design of New Equipment” Design Office.

The big CRYOSTAR family of managers

“I’m lucky enough to be part of the CRYOSTAR family of managers. My role is purely managerial, backed by my technical skills, useful to steer the business. My goal was to move into management, and I had talked about it during my career interviews. When there was a change of organization within the Technical Department, our Technical Director encouraged me to apply for the position of Team Manager, believing that my human qualities were well suited to the job. What’s more, I was able to take advantage of a whole range of management training courses, a comprehensive program that I find very well put together”.

The quality of the products designed by our Design Office

“I’m very keen to work on cutting-edge products whose purpose sparks my interest, and I can say that since 2020 I’ve been lucky enough to live in a technical environment that is indeed exciting!  What’s more, I have an impact on both my team’s performance and that of the company, and I’m in a position to contribute my ideas and solutions to more cross-functional issues. This enriches me a lot and makes me want to surpass myself on a daily basis.

I’m lucky to have a team that has given me a very warm welcome. This highly experienced team is made up of professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds, all of whom are committed to doing their job well. I can attest to the importance they attach to the quality of the products designed in our Design Office, and I’m delighted to be able to support them on a daily basis”.

CRYOSTAR takes care of its employees

“When I applied for a job at CRYOSTAR in 2020, I discovered the company through web searches on the main industrial players in turbo machinery, but I didn’t know CRYOSTAR beforehand. Today, I can say that the CRYOSTAR culture is an important factor in my professional development. CRYOSTAR takes care of its employees and, in return, people take care of CRYOSTAR.  I’ve taken up running, for example, and I’ve got a taste for running with my colleagues. Sporting activities between noon and midday are encouraged, with showers available, cross-country events organized, and a gym available to us in a town right next to the company”.
